Google gave up on Keywords?

I've got a bit of good news and bad news, Agung.

The bad news is... traditional SEO is out-dated and isn't
nearly as effective with Google. It's 2013 and Google is over
all of us trying to "over-optimize for keywords".
I've been stressing this for some time now.

What do I mean?

If you approach SEO like the old days (find a keyword, get links
only for that keyword, etc etc), you're going to get nowhere
fast in Google.

But the good news is this:

I've been saying for a LONG time (and teaching) that in order
to future-proof your sites, you need a more
"comprehensive" approach.

Does this mean backlinks are worthless? Absolutely NOT. It just
means that you should focus your backlinks on strengthening your
site and THEN apply the strategies described above.

So don't get me wrong, SEO is NOT dead. That's FAR from
the truth. It has evolved and this is a key factor to getting all
the free traffic you can handle:
