New credit campaign is ready!

Following some recent changes to Credit Campaigns at APSense there were concerns that there some disadvantages to the ways in which campaigns were limited.

Two more campaign styles have been added, meaning that credits can be used in three types of campaigns.
  • PTC (Paid To Click) Campaigns
    Use credits for other APSense Members to earn credits by clicking on your campaign. These campaigns can only be created with destination links from one of the APSense features. Creators choose how many credits per click and how many clicks per campaign.
  • CPM (Cost Per Impression) Campaign
    Uses 1 credit per page impression. Only unique IP in 24 hours counted. These campaigns can use destinations links from both inside APSense and external to other sites. The creator chooses how many impressions for the campaign.
  • Spotlight Campaign
    In this new style campaign an item of content on APSense is selected for the Spotlight. The owner of the content receives a proportion of total credits generated in the campaign. Other members can buy tickets with credits that are added to the credit pool for the campaign. From the ticket holders one person is randomly selected to receive a large part of the pool of credits, and five others are randomly granted a smaller amount.
