(and rightfully so because it WORKS) is going to the Clickbank marketplace,
browsing through the popular products, and then promoting them by
optimizing for the "product name keyword" in Google, and getting
good buyer traffic from those searches.
Side note: if you're not doing this already, you should be.
It's a fairly easy way to make some good money online.
Anyway, it works amazingly well! It's no secret...
The visitors are already in the buying mode!
But it only works if you know which keywords are worth spending
your SEO budget and time on.
The big problem with just going to Clickbank and promoting
the "popular-selling" products is that every other affiliate
is doing the exact same thing. So the competition level
is pretty fierce. And Clickbank doesn't give us enough stats
to make a quick decision on which product to promote.
So several months ago, my brother Brad and I created our own
personal FireFox plugin tool that tells us EXACTLY which
products in the CB marketplace are worth promoting via SEO,
without having to manually do all of the seo research...
(i.e. how difficult OR easy it will be to rank that
product name keyword in Google)
... and which products are proven to be high-converting
over long periods of time... (and more)
